Supervisor Santiago 6/17/13

GVA met with Supervisor Santiago Monday morning, and we want to share how supportive this Supervisor is of the Green Valley corridor issues:  
After discussing the impact that the current Community Region boundaries are having on the corridor, Supervisor Santiago offered to put forth the inclusion of our requested corridor traffic study on the 5-yr CIP list that is agendized for today's BOS hearing (item #32).  At least three other Supervisors are supportive, so hopefully we will have good news to share on an update here shortly!

update 6/18/13: thanks to Supervisor Santiago, who did indeed bring up the corridor traffic study.  Kim Kerr (CommunityServicesDeptDirector) deferred to the upcoming Travel Demand Model to handle the issue.  This is a non-answer in that the TDM is a tool, not a study.  Following up...
