Our Supervisors need to hear from YOU.
Alto Development Agreement (DA) & map extension – Board of Supervisors hearing is Tuesday June 10th, 2pm
The Alto subdivision has an approved tentative map that expires in 2016.  The automatic map extensions will have been exhausted, so the developer is headed to the Board of Supervisors with a proposed Development Agreement to gain a 15-year map extension.

Circumstances have changed since the original project approval...the project is no longer Measure Y compliant regarding traffic impact, and the oak woodland mitigation utilized for the approval has been thrown out in court. CEQA law (California Environmental Quality Act) requires a new environment analysis.  Regardless of those facts, County staff is still recommending approval.
If you would like to see the Board require a supplemental environmental review before they give a blanket extension, WRITE TO OUR SUPERVISORS!  Links and template are provided below.

(link to original project:  http:///Planning/ProjectInquiryApprovedDisplay.asp?ProjectID=14816current postings including the DA itself have been removed & info must be requested from the Clerk of the Board until the Agenda has been posted.  Feel free to complain!  What is the point of public notice if you cannot access the material?)

You can bet the developers will be in attendance for this meeting.  If you wish to be heard and cannot attend, please write/email the Supervisors.  This will not be the last project to come forward before the November ballot gives you a voice, so flex those typing fingers and/or come see where the Board meets.

the Board meets at 330 Fair Lane Bldg A in Placerville
